Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Baikejing Keli is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) granule formulation developed and manufactured by Shanxi Taisheng Pharmaceutical. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of cough, excessive phlegm, and asthma-like symptoms associated with bronchitis or respiratory infections. The formulation consists of a complex mixture of 15 herbal ingredients, including *Scutellaria baicalensis*, *Platycodon grandiflorum*, *Stemona sessilifolia*, and *Armeniaca sibirica*. These components work synergistically to clear pulmonary heat, resolve phlegm, and suppress the cough reflex. It is widely used in China for both acute and chronic respiratory conditions, including whooping cough (pertussis-like symptoms), where phlegm-heat obstruction in the lungs is present.
