Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Bailing Capsule is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) developed and manufactured by Zhejiang Zuoli Pharmaceutical, primarily composed of fermented *Cordyceps sinensis* powder. It is designed to replicate the therapeutic effects of natural Cordyceps, a fungus highly valued in TCM for its restorative properties. The drug is primarily indicated for the treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and respiratory conditions such as chronic bronchitis and asthma. Its mechanism of action involves broad immunomodulation, anti-inflammatory activity, and antioxidant effects, which collectively help to protect renal parenchyma, reduce proteinuria, and improve pulmonary function. Bailing Capsule is approved in China and is frequently used as an adjunctive therapy to stabilize organ function in patients with chronic inflammatory or degenerative disorders of the kidneys and lungs.
