Overview
Baizhiqian Lungs-Calming Antitussive Granules (also known as Baizhike Pingchuan Granules) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by Dishang Group Weihai Dishang Bioproducts for the treatment of acute tracheobronchitis. It is specifically indicated for patients presenting with the "wind invading lung" pattern according to TCM diagnostics. The granules are designed to relieve cough and calm the lungs. A Phase II clinical trial (CTR20150308) was conducted as a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study to evaluate its efficacy and safety over a 7-day treatment period followed by a 7-day follow-up in adult patients.
