Overview

BALI is a substance that mitigates mitochondrial dysfunction and PANoptotic responses, which integrate pyroptosis, apoptosis, and necroptosis. It has been shown to reduce mitochondrial reactive oxygen species (mtROS) and affect cytochrome c, thereby alleviating necroptosis and apoptosis. This action contributes to mitigating conditions like citrinin-induced renal injury.
