bamethan

Bamethan is a small molecule vasodilator and an adrenaline derivative developed by C. H. Boehringer Sohn. It acts primarily as a peripheral vasodilator, exerting its effect through stimulation of adrenergic beta-receptors, leading to relaxation of vascular smooth muscle and subsequent dilation of blood vessels. Bamethan has been used in the treatment of various peripheral vascular and circulatory disturbances, including peripheral artery disease, Raynaud's phenomenon, arteriosclerotic peripheral vascular disease, occlusive vascular disease of the legs, post-thrombotic syndrome, degenerative muscular disorders, and other conditions involving peripheral vascular insufficiency[2][3][4][5][8]. Its main clinical use is for improving blood flow in patients with compromised circulation.
