Overview
Banlangen Koufuye (Banlangen Oral Liquid) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) oral liquid formulation developed and manufactured by Dalian Merro Traditional Chinese Medicine Factory. The active ingredient is Banlangen (Radix Isatidis, or Isatis root), derived from the root of *Isatis indigotica* or *Isatis tinctoria*. It is widely used in TCM for its antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties to treat conditions such as the common cold, fever, influenza, sore throat, and upper respiratory tract infections. As a multi-component herbal preparation, it exerts broad immunomodulatory and antiviral effects without a single defined molecular target.
