Baogong Zhixue Granule

Baogong Zhixue Granule (also known as Baogong Zhixue Granules or Baogong Zhixue Keli) is an approved traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulation developed by Tianjin Zhongsheng Haitian Pharmaceutical (a subsidiary of Guizhou Yibai Pharmaceutical) and marketed by Guizhou Yibai Women's Pharmacy. It is a multi-herb granule formulation containing ten active botanical ingredients, including Concha Ostreae (煅牡蛎), Radix Paeoniae Alba (白芍), Cacumen Platycladi Carbonisatus (侧柏炭), Radix Rehmanniae (地黄), Fructus Rosae Laevigatae (金樱子), Radix Bupleuri (醋柴胡), Radix Notoginseng (三七), Herba Agrimoniae (仙鹤草), Cortex Ailanthi (椿皮), and Folium Isatidis (大青叶). Baogong Zhixue Granule is indicated for the treatment of gynecological bleeding disorders, including menorrhagia (excessive menstrual bleeding), prolonged menstruation, functional uterine bleeding, and uterine bleeding following intrauterine device (IUD) insertion or abortion. It acts by nourishing Yin, clearing heat, consolidating the meridians, and promoting uterine contraction and endometrial repair to achieve hemostasis.
