Overview

BASH-001 is an investigational small molecule being developed by Bash Biotech (also known as Bash Today) for the treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD). The program is based on research from the laboratory of Dr. Benjamin Humphreys at Washington University in St. Louis, which utilizes single-cell genomic insights to identify molecular drivers of kidney fibrosis and myofibroblast activation. BASH-001 is designed to target a novel, undisclosed biological pathway to halt or reverse the progression of renal decline. Currently in the preclinical stage of development, it represents the lead candidate in Bash Biotech's pipeline of therapies aimed at restoring kidney function.
