Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BAT-100 is a preclinical-stage small molecule inhibitor being developed by Bright Angel Therapeutics for the treatment of drug-resistant and invasive fungal infections. The compound is designed to target critical fungal stress response pathways that are essential for the maintenance and emergence of antifungal drug resistance. By inhibiting these fungal-selective targets, BAT-100 aims to provide broad-spectrum activity against both drug-sensitive fungal isolates and those with established resistance to conventional antifungal therapies. The drug was developed utilizing Schrödinger's computational drug discovery platform in conjunction with proprietary biological technologies.
