BAT1306 is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that targets programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1). By binding to PD-1 on T cells, it blocks the interaction between PD-1 and its ligands (PD-L1/PD-L2), thereby inhibiting downstream signaling pathways that suppress immune responses. This blockade restores and enhances T-cell mediated immune activity against tumor cells. BAT1306 is being developed primarily for the treatment of solid tumors and has been studied in combination with other agents such as COX inhibitors and chemotherapy regimens like XELOX (capecitabine plus oxaliplatin) in various cancer types including colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, esophageal cancer, and other advanced or metastatic solid tumors[1][2][3][4][5][7].
