Overview

BAT2306 is a proposed biosimilar of Novartis' Cosentyx® (secukinumab). It is a human IgG1κ monoclonal antibody that binds to the protein interleukin (IL)-17A. BAT2306 is being developed by Bio-Thera Solutions for the treatment of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis and other autoimmune disorders. The drug has completed a Phase I study and is currently in Phase III clinical trials comparing its efficacy and safety to Cosentyx in patients with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.
