BAT6026

BAT6026 is an afucosylated, anti-OX40 agonist monoclonal antibody developed by Bio-Thera Solutions. It is designed to target and activate the OX40 receptor (also known as tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 4) on activated T cells. By binding to OX40, BAT6026 acts as an agonist to stimulate T cell proliferation and immune response. Additionally, its afucosylation enhances antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), enabling selective depletion of activated OX40+ T cells—particularly regulatory T cells (Tregs)—which may improve clinical outcomes in both inflammatory diseases and cancer. The drug blocks the interaction between OX40 and its ligand (OX40L), thereby inhibiting excessive T cell activation and proliferation implicated in autoimmune conditions such as atopic dermatitis. Preclinical studies have shown potent anti-tumor activity both alone and in combination with other immunotherapies[2][4][5][7][8].
