BAT8009 is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) composed of a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting the immunoregulatory protein B7-homologue 3 (B7-H3, also known as CD276), which is overexpressed in many solid tumors. The antibody is linked to the camptothecin analog exatecan, a potent topoisomerase I inhibitor. This design allows for targeted delivery of the cytotoxic payload to tumor cells expressing B7-H3, resulting in direct tumor cell killing and a bystander effect that can eliminate neighboring cancer cells. Developed using Bio-Thera Solutions’ proprietary ADC platform with a systemically stable cleavable linker and high drug-to-antibody ratio (DAR), BAT8009 has demonstrated strong antitumor activity and favorable safety profiles in preclinical studies. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for advanced or metastatic solid tumors[1][5][7][8].
