Bawei Qinpi Wan is a traditional Tibetan medicine developed and manufactured by Xizang Ganlu Tibetan Medicine. It is an approved pharmaceutical product in China, registered under the National Drug License Number Z54020022. The formulation is primarily indicated for the treatment of various ophthalmic conditions, including conjunctivitis, keratitis, and early-stage cataracts. According to traditional Tibetan medical principles, the medicine functions to clear heat and improve eyesight. The formulation consists of eight primary ingredients: Cortex Fraxini (Qinpi), Terminalia chebula (Hezi), Terminalia bellirica (Maohezi), Phyllanthus emblica (Yuganzi), Punica granatum (Shiliuzi), Rubia tibetica (Zangqiancao), Bitumen (Zhaxungao), and Tourmaline (Bixi). It is administered orally in the form of pills.
