Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Bazi Bushen is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by Shijiazhuang Yiling Pharmaceutical, primarily used to treat kidney-essence deficiency syndrome and symptoms of premature aging. The formulation is based on the "eight seeds" (Bazi) theory, incorporating botanical ingredients such as Fructus Lycii, Semen Cuscutae, and Fructus Rubi, along with animal-derived components like Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum. It is designed to replenish kidney essence, warm kidney yang, and nourish kidney yin. Clinical research, including Phase 4 multicenter trials, has focused on its potential anti-aging effects, specifically its ability to modulate epigenetic aging (DNA methylation), improve physical and cognitive function, and alleviate age-related decline.
