Overview

BB-1705 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) under development by Bliss Biopharmaceutical (Hangzhou) for the treatment of various solid tumors, including gastric cancer, triple-negative breast cancer, head and neck cancer, and non-small cell lung cancer. The drug consists of a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody targeting the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), conjugated to the cytotoxic agent eribulin via a cathepsin-cleavable valine-citrulline linker. Its mechanism of action involves binding to EGFR on tumor cells, internalization of the ADC-antigen complex, and intracellular release of eribulin to inhibit tubulin polymerization and induce apoptosis in targeted cancer cells. BB-1705 is currently in Phase I clinical trials for gastric cancer and other advanced solid tumors[1][2][3][4][5].
