Overview

BB-1709 is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Bliss Biopharmaceutical (Hangzhou). It is designed to target Ecto-5'-nucleotidase (CD73), an enzyme implicated in tumor immune evasion, and also acts as a tubulin inhibitor. By inhibiting Ecto-5'-nucleotidase (CD73) enzymatic activity, BB-1709 may promote anti-tumor immune responses, while its tubulin inhibition disrupts cancer cell division. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors. Preclinical studies have shown favorable safety and efficacy profiles, suggesting potential utility across various solid tumor types.
