BB-MPI-03 is a recombinant polypeptide-based investigational therapeutic developed as a peptide-based immunotherapy (cancer vaccine) targeting hematological malignancies such as acute myeloid leukemia (AML), multiple myeloma (MM), and myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS)[1][2][3]. The drug consists of multiple peptides designed to stimulate cytotoxic T-cells against oncofetal antigens (OFA), including the immature laminin receptor protein. Its mechanism of action is as an immunostimulant—intended to enhance the immune response against tumor cells expressing these antigens[1][2][3]. Developed by Benovus Bio[1][2], it has been evaluated in phase I clinical trials for safety and preliminary anti-tumor activity in patients with stable or refractory hematologic cancers who are not eligible for or refuse stem cell transplantation[3].
