BB102

BB102 is a highly selective and potent small molecule inhibitor of fibroblast growth factor receptor 4 (FGFR4). It was independently discovered and is being developed by BroadenBio (Beijing BroadenBio Co., Ltd.) for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, particularly those with abnormal FGFR4 signaling such as hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and other FGF19/FGFR4-positive cancers. The drug acts as an FGFR4 antagonist, blocking the activity of this receptor to inhibit tumor growth driven by aberrant FGFR4 signaling. Preclinical studies have demonstrated high selectivity, strong in vitro and in vivo antitumor activity across various cancer models including liver cancer, rhabdomyosarcoma, and breast cancer xenografts. As of June 2025, it is undergoing Phase 1 clinical trials to evaluate safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), efficacy, and food effect in patients with advanced solid tumors[1][2][3][5][6][7].
