Overview

BB2001 is a discovery-stage cyclic peptide decoy developed by Bluedot Bio that targets the MYC (c-Myc) transcription factor. MYC is a master regulator of cell growth and metabolism that is frequently overexpressed in many cancers but has been difficult to target with traditional small molecules. BB2001 is designed to function as a molecular decoy, mimicking the DNA sequences or protein interfaces that MYC binds to, thereby preventing MYC from activating its downstream oncogenic gene expression program. This approach aims to provide a therapeutic option for a broad range of MYC-driven malignancies.
