Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BB265 is a second-generation, co-cultured microbial consortium therapy developed by BiomeBank using its proprietary CONSORTIOME platform. It consists of a defined community of approximately 100 bacterial species selected from BiomeBank's culture collection. The therapy is designed to restore gut microbial ecology and specifically target ulcerative colitis by reducing and consuming hydrogen sulfide, a property linked to clinical remission. BB265 is formulated as a non-immunosuppressive oral therapy and is being prepared for Phase 1b/2a clinical trials.
