Overview

BB3001 is a cyclic decoy molecule developed by Bluedot Bio, designed to inhibit the activity of Nuclear Factor kappa B (NF-κB). Currently in the discovery and preclinical stages, BB3001 is being investigated for the treatment of multiple cancer types. The cyclic decoy modality works by mimicking the specific DNA sequences that NF-κB typically binds to, effectively sequestering the transcription factor and preventing it from activating downstream genes associated with cell survival, proliferation, and inflammation in tumor cells. By disrupting this key signaling pathway, BB3001 aims to provide a targeted therapeutic approach for malignancies where NF-κB is dysregulated.
