Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BB605 is a novel continuous-delivery formulation of naloxone being developed by Bexson Biomedical for the prevention and treatment of opioid overdose. Utilizing Bexson's proprietary SEVALENT technology platform, BB605 is designed for subcutaneous administration via a wearable on-body delivery system. This approach aims to provide sustained protection against opioid-induced respiratory depression by maintaining therapeutic levels of naloxone, a non-selective opioid receptor antagonist, over an extended period. The drug is currently in the preclinical stage of development and represents an effort to transition therapies traditionally given intravenously to a more accessible, continuous wearable format.
