BB700-BB707 is a series of repurposed small molecule drug combinations developed by BalinBac Therapeutics for the treatment of COVID-19. Each candidate in the series is designed to target multiple stages of the SARS-CoV-2 viral lifecycle and the host response. The mechanisms of action include Protease Spike inhibitors/Modulators (PSMs), Entry/Attachment Inhibitors (EAIs), Protease Inhibitors (PIs), RNA-dependent RNA polymerase Inhibitors (RdRpIs), Metabolic Response Inhibitors (MRIs), and Enzyme Activators (EAs). These combinations are intended for oral or inhalation administration and are currently undergoing DMPK and safety evaluation in the preclinical stage.
