Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BBT-001 is an experimental engineered B-cell immunotherapy being developed by Bespoke Biotherapeutics for the treatment of HER2-positive solid tumors. The therapy utilizes the company's proprietary NINJA (non-viral, large transgene, homology-mediated end-joining) platform, which employs CRISPR/Cas9 to precisely engineer B-cells to express anti-HER2 activity. These engineered B-cells are designed to function as 'cancer sentinels' that seek out and destroy residual and recurrent HER2-positive cancer cells. The program is currently in preclinical development and encompasses both autologous and allogeneic (off-the-shelf) product candidates.
