BC-004

BC-004 is an early-stage chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy candidate under development by BioCell Innovations. Targeted for the treatment of solid tumors, the therapy is currently in the discovery phase. Like other CAR-T modalities, BC-004 involves the genetic modification of T cells to express a receptor that enables the immune system to identify and attack malignant cells. While the specific molecular target for BC-004 has not been disclosed by the developer, the program represents an expansion of BioCell Innovations' pipeline into the solid tumor space, following their hematological malignancy programs (BC-001 and BC-002).
