Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BC008-1A is a bispecific antibody designed to target both PD-1 (Programmed cell death protein 1) and TIGIT (T cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains), two immune checkpoint proteins. By simultaneously blocking these inhibitory pathways, BC008-1A aims to relieve the suppression of T lymphocytes and natural killer cells, thereby enhancing anti-tumor immune responses. The drug is being developed as an intravenously administered antineoplastic agent for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer, esophageal cancer, and recurrent glioma. The developer is Sichuan Luzhou Buchang Biopharmaceutical. As of early 2025, it is in Phase 1 clinical trials in China for various solid tumor indications.
