Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BC010 is an innovative humanized monoclonal antibody targeting CD73 (ecto-5'-nucleotidase), an immune checkpoint enzyme involved in the adenosine pathway. Developed by Dragon Boat Pharmaceutical, a subsidiary of Guilin Sanjin Pharmaceutical, BC010 is designed to block the conversion of adenosine monophosphate (AMP) into immunosuppressive adenosine within the tumor microenvironment. By reducing adenosine levels, the drug aims to alleviate immune suppression and enhance the activity of T cells and other immune cells against tumors. BC010 features Fc-engineered optimization to improve its safety profile and has shown potential for synergistic effects when used in combination with other immuno-oncology therapies. It is currently being investigated for the treatment of various solid tumors.
