Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BC011 is a monoclonal antibody (mAb) that targets Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily Member 1B (TNFR2), currently under development by Dragon Boat Pharmaceutical (a subsidiary of Guilin Sanjin). TNFR2 is a member of the TNF receptor superfamily and is predominantly expressed on regulatory T cells (Tregs) and certain tumor cells, where it plays a role in immune evasion and tumor progression. By modulating TNFR2, BC011 aims to disrupt the immunosuppressive environment within tumors, particularly in gastrointestinal cancers such as pancreatic cancer. The drug has received IND approval, positioning it for early-phase clinical evaluation.
