BC8-SA

An **immunoconjugate** composed of a monoclonal antibody (BC8) targeting the CD45 antigen, conjugated to streptavidin. **BC8-SA** binds to CD45, a protein tyrosine phosphatase on the surface of normal and malignant hematopoietic cells. In radioimmunotherapy regimens, this conjugate is administered prior to a biotin-based radioconjugate, allowing high-affinity binding of biotin to streptavidin, thereby **delivering cytotoxic radiation specifically to CD45-expressing cells upon internalization**.
