Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BCD-217 is a fixed-dose combination of two monoclonal antibodies—nurulimab (an anti-cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen 4 [CTLA4] antibody) and prolgolimab (an anti-programmed cell death protein 1 [PD-1] antibody). This combination targets two key immune checkpoint pathways to enhance the immune system's ability to recognize and destroy cancer cells. The drug is being developed primarily for the treatment of unresectable or metastatic melanoma. Clinical trials have evaluated its efficacy, safety, immunogenicity, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics as first-line therapy in patients with advanced melanoma. The developer is Biocad[1][2][5][7].
