Overview

The BCG vaccine developed by Anhui Zhifei Longcom Biologic Pharmacy is a live attenuated vaccine derived from *Mycobacterium bovis* intended for the prevention of tuberculosis. It is administered via intradermal injection and is designed to stimulate a protective immune response against *Mycobacterium tuberculosis*. The vaccine has been evaluated in a randomized, blinded, placebo-controlled Phase I clinical trial to assess its safety and tolerability across a wide age range (6 to 65 years) using a dose-escalation design with concentrations ranging from 0.025mg to 0.1mg per dose.
