Overview

BCI-1415 is a preclinical-stage small molecule inhibitor of the colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor (CSF1R), developed by BCI Pharma. CSF1R is a tyrosine kinase receptor that plays a critical role in the survival, proliferation, and differentiation of mononuclear phagocytes, including macrophages and microglia. By inhibiting CSF1R, BCI-1415 aims to modulate inflammatory responses and the tumor microenvironment. The drug is being investigated for the treatment of chronic pain, peripheral inflammation, and various types of cancer.
