Overview

BCI-1446 is a preclinical small molecule drug developed by BCI Pharma SAS, designed as a potent and selective inhibitor of the colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor (CSF-1R) tyrosine kinase. It is being investigated for its therapeutic potential in immune system diseases, nervous system diseases, and skin and musculoskeletal diseases. Preclinical studies have demonstrated promising anti-tumor activity, modulation of tumor-associated macrophages, reduction in proinflammatory cytokines (including IL-1β and TNFα), and efficacy in models of peripheral neuropathic pain, psoriasis, endometriosis, and cancer—including triple-negative breast cancer. The compound is also under evaluation for kidney diseases and neuralgia[1][2][4].
