Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BCL6-II (also known as BCL-5 or BCL6) is a preclinical-stage botanical drug candidate being developed by Botanic Century for the treatment of type II diabetes. It is a single-plant active fraction that acts as a glycosidase inhibitor. Discovered initially in an in vitro assay, BCL6-II has demonstrated the ability to increase glucose tolerance in preclinical models. As a complex mixture of multiple chemical constituents, it is designed to provide a comprehensive therapeutic effect for patients with type II diabetes.
