Overview

BCM-H02 is a bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE-like) antibody developed by Bio-Cytomed. It simultaneously binds to the CD3 epsilon subunit on T cells and the CD19 antigen on B cells. This dual binding facilitates the formation of an immunological synapse between cytotoxic T cells and CD19-positive B-cell lymphoma or leukemia cells, leading to T-cell activation and subsequent lysis of the target B cells. BCM-H02 is being investigated for the treatment of relapsed or refractory B-cell hematological malignancies, including non-Hodgkin lymphoma and acute lymphoblastic leukemia. It is based on Bio-Cytomed's proprietary BCM (Bispecific Cell-engaging Molecule) platform, which is designed to produce high-affinity, stable bispecific constructs for cancer immunotherapy.
