Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BCMA-7×19 CAR-T cells are a fourth-generation chimeric antigen receptor T cell therapy engineered to target B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) on malignant plasma cells, while simultaneously secreting interleukin-7 (IL-7) and chemokine CCL19 to enhance in vivo proliferation, migration, and persistence of CAR-T cells. This modification aims to overcome relapse rates and promote deeper and more durable responses in patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma by improving CAR-T cell functionality and tumor microenvironment modulation. In early-phase clinical studies, BCMA-7×19 CAR-T cells showed promising safety and efficacy, with manageable cytokine release syndrome and durable remissions observed[1][2].
