Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination cell therapy product consisting of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells engineered to target both B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) and CD19. The approach involves either co-infusion or dual-targeting of autologous or allogeneic T cells modified to express separate or tandem CARs against these two antigens. The mechanism aims to enhance anti-myeloma efficacy by addressing tumor heterogeneity and reducing the risk of antigen escape in relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (R/R MM), including cases with extramedullary disease. Clinical studies have shown promising safety and efficacy profiles, with durable responses observed in early-phase trials[1][2][3][4].
