Overview
BCMA GoCAR-NK is an investigational **allogeneic, off-the-shelf CAR-NK cell therapy** developed by **Bellicum Pharmaceuticals** for **multiple myeloma**. The product consists of natural killer cells engineered with a chimeric antigen receptor directed against **B-cell maturation antigen**, a plasma-cell antigen broadly expressed on malignant myeloma cells. Its design also incorporates Bellicum's inducible **MyD88/CD40 activation switch** together with **autocrine IL-15** support, with the goal of enhancing NK-cell activation, expansion, persistence, cytokine production, and antitumor cytotoxicity after administration. The program was described in **preclinical development**, positioning it as a cell-based immuno-oncology therapy intended to improve the durability and practicality of allogeneic cell therapy compared with autologous approaches.
