Overview

BDB-2 is an anti-C5a antibody developed by Beijing Defengrei Biotechnology (BDB) and subsequently by its parent company, Staidson. The drug was developed using the vilobelimab cell line, for which InflaRx GmbH granted an exclusive license to BDB for development and commercialization in China. As an anti-C5a antibody, BDB-2 targets the complement component C5a, aiming to modulate the immune response. InflaRx is eligible for mid-single-digit royalties on net sales of BDB-2 in China.
