Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BDX100 is a proprietary intranasal mucosal adjuvant developed by Biodextris. It is designed to enhance the immunogenicity of intranasally delivered vaccine antigens, particularly by promoting mucosal IgA and systemic IgG responses. In March 2021, Biodextris entered into a material transfer agreement with Oragenics to evaluate BDX100, alongside BDX300 and BDX301, as part of Oragenics' Terra CoV-2 vaccine program for COVID-19. The adjuvant technology is intended to provide a needle-free vaccination route that can potentially block viral transmission at the point of entry by stimulating immunity directly at the respiratory mucosa.
