Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BDX200 (also known as BDX300 or FluINsure) is an intranasal subunit influenza vaccine developed by Inspirevax (originally developed by ID Biomedical and later GSK). It consists of influenza hemagglutinin (HA) antigens complexed with a proteosome adjuvant derived from outer membrane proteins (OMPs) of Neisseria meningitidis. The HA antigen induces influenza-specific adaptive immunity, while the proteosome adjuvant stimulates innate immune signaling primarily through Toll-like receptors TLR1, TLR2, and TLR4. BDX200 has been evaluated in ten clinical trials, including challenge and field studies, demonstrating a favorable safety and efficacy profile.
