Overview
BE-02 is a bacterial consortium developed by BiomEdit to promote gut health and resilience in poultry and swine. As a foundational project within BiomEdit's pipeline, it consists of a selected group of beneficial bacteria designed to establish a healthy and resilient intestinal environment, potentially improving animal performance and health. BiomEdit, an animal health biotechnology company established as a carve-out from Elanco Animal Health, utilizes advanced microbiome science and bioinformatics to develop these solutions. BE-02 is currently in the preclinical development stage, moving from discovery and design toward candidate optimization.
