Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BE-102 is a first-in-class B Cell Medicine (BCM) engineered using artificial intelligence-guided protein design to modify primary human B cells to produce alkaline phosphatase (ALP), an enzyme deficient in people living with hypophosphatasia (HPP). A single infusion of BE-102 has the potential to express sustained therapeutic levels of ALP, with flexibility for titration and/or re-dosing if needed, and does not require pre-conditioning. The therapy aims to transform the standard of care for HPP by providing continuous enzyme replacement through modified B cells[1][3].
