Overview
Becanex (specifically the Becanex PIEX product line) is a series of plant-identical cannabis extracts (PIEX) developed by Becanex GmbH in partnership with Bedrocan. These extracts are produced using a proprietary, solvent-free, low-temperature, and low-pressure extraction process that preserves the natural ratio of cannabinoids (such as tetrahydrocannabinol [THC] and cannabidiol [CBD]) and terpenes found in the source cannabis flower. The portfolio includes standardized concentrates such as Becanex PIEX Bedrocan (70% or 78% THC), Becanex PIEX 2 (70% THC from Strawberry OG), and Becanex PIEX 3 (62% CBD from God Bud). These concentrates are designed for pharmacy compounding into various dosage forms, including oral solutions, capsules, suppositories, topical preparations, and inhalation/vaporization formulations, primarily for the management of conditions treatable with medical cannabis, such as chronic pain, spasticity, and anxiety.
