Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TollereBio is developing a vaccine candidate for the prevention of Salmonella infection, currently in the preclinical stage. The vaccine utilizes a nanoparticle formulation that incorporates the Salmonella protein L-SseB as an antigen. To enhance the immune response, the formulation includes a BECC (Bacterial Enzymatic Combinatorial Chemistry) adjuvant, which functions as a Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) agonist. This combination is designed to stimulate robust anti-Salmonella immunity by leveraging both a specific bacterial antigen and a potent innate immune activator.
