BECC TLR4 adjuvant

BECC TLR4 adjuvant is a synthetic lipid A mimetic developed by TollereBio as a potent Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) agonist. Part of the Bio-Engineered Complementary Compounds (BECC) platform, this adjuvant is designed to enhance the magnitude and breadth of the immune response to vaccines. It is currently in preclinical development for influenza, where it has demonstrated the ability to induce cross-protection against heterologous Influenza A strains and maintain efficacy in aged mouse models. By activating the TLR4 pathway, the adjuvant stimulates innate immune signaling to promote robust T-cell and B-cell responses, potentially overcoming the immunosenescence often observed in elderly populations.
