Overview
Formoterol + glycopyrronium + beclometasone (marketed under the brand name Trimbow, among others) is an inhaled fixed-dose triple combination therapy developed by Chiesi. It consists of formoterol fumarate (a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist, or LABA), glycopyrronium bromide (a long-acting muscarinic antagonist, or LAMA), and beclometasone dipropionate (an inhaled corticosteroid, or ICS). This combination is formulated as an extrafine aerosol, allowing the active ingredients to reach both the large and small airways. It is approved for the maintenance treatment of moderate to severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma in adults whose symptoms are not adequately controlled by dual-therapy inhalers.
