This is a therapeutic regimen consisting of beclomethasone, erythromycin, and furosemide. It was notably documented in a 1995 case report in a 55-year-old woman with bronchorrhea and bronchial asthma, where it effectively managed symptoms, including a significant reduction in sputum volume. The regimen involved oral erythromycin, inhaled beclomethasone, and later, inhaled furosemide. The combination is thought to work through the anti-inflammatory actions of beclomethasone and erythromycin, and the diuretic effect of furosemide, which also improved mucus clearance. It also affected the quality of sputum, altering concentrations of various biochemical markers.
