Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Pilohenz ANO Cream is a topical combination therapy developed by Rebrace Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of hemorrhoids (piles) and anal fissures. The formulation contains three active pharmaceutical ingredients: beclomethasone dipropionate, a potent corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, swelling, and itching; phenylephrine hydrochloride, a sympathomimetic amine that acts as a vasoconstrictor to shrink swollen blood vessels in the anorectal area; and lidocaine (lignocaine) hydrochloride, a local anesthetic that provides rapid relief from pain and discomfort. The cream is designed for topical application to the affected area to manage symptoms associated with inflammatory anorectal conditions.
